Back in the Saddle Again….

In the last quarter of 2021, after several years hiatus, Leigh Anne Lindsey restarted Sea Storm’s Production Studios with a goal to create a variety of productions, from documentaries to TV series to fictional films to podcasts, many of which have a horse-related theme. And by opening new offices in the Sea Ranch, CA at 1000 Annapolis Road (where architects, designers, a wine shop, and LyndonDesign Gallery make for a creative collective group of people and ideas.) Thus, at the end of January 2022, Sea Storm’s offices will be located above that art gallery in Suite 10A.

Starting in late 2021, prior to the opening of the new offices, Lindsey began development again at the Cypress Village studios in Gualala, CA on SEABISCUIT’S LEGACY a feature-length inspirational documentary about how the legendary Underdog Horse continues to have a positive impact at The Home of Seabiscuit, a Small Rural Community in Northern California where magical transformations continue between horses and humans. And where also the history of Seabiscuit continues to positively influence this community in a variety of intriguing ways.

Just as it was in Seabiscuit’s day (with the Howard Family overcoming the loss of a young son and a nation finding ways to cope with the Great Depression), so it is today with special needs children and wounded war veterans undergoing positive transformations through a therapeutic riding program on the ranch and at a hospital the Howards helped build which continues to serve the community with an even much larger, state-of-the-art facility (among the top hospitals in the entire Adventist Health network in this country), and community gardens at both hospital and ranch which serves the community and those in need.

Lindsey is looking forward to the magic she can make happen starting January 2022 and for the next decade to come at her new Sea Ranch production studios – from this enduring story about an amazing race horse and history to all the future productions she has in mind!
